Sagicor Inspires Tertiary Students in New Project
Sagicor Group Jamaica launched its inaugural Inspire Project on Friday, aimed at strengthening the leadership and life skills of some 120 specially selected tertiary-level students. The students will be taken on a weekend motivational retreat at the Sagicor-owned Hilton Resort and Spa in St James from Friday, October 21 to 23.
Members of the Sagicor Group paused from racking up huge profits over the 2016 financial year (think a record of $9.8 billion at year-end December 2015), to celebrate the team members who played a role in achieving those staggering numbers.
Sagicor last Thursday presented proceeds of its Sigma Corporate Run 2016 to Black River Hospital’s Paediatric Unit, which was one of the three beneficiaries of this year’s event.
Sagicor Bank launches low interest credit card for businesses of all sizes. The credit card offers businesses a 21.95% interest rate, the lowest JA$ credit card in the market. In addition, Sagicor Bank has partnered with MasterCard to introduce a special automatic rebate of up to 5% when the card is used at over 40,000 merchants in the United States, including hotels, restaurants, car rentals among others.

Over 1200 young athletes from primary schools across the island will descend upon the National Stadium to display their immense athletic talents at the JTA/ Sagicor National Athletic Championships on Friday, May 20 and Saturday, May 21. The JTA/Sagicor track and Field championship is the ultimate showcase for young athletes between the ages of 6-17 years old.
